Wildflower
Wildchild- Nikita Sara |
a girl, a child woman
like a flower in the wild
on the treacherous mountain top
on the edge of a hill
on the river bend
standing bright after a storm
all else withered but the wild flower
standing tall
with a promise of a brilliant bloom after
the rain
to bring joy to a broken heart
to stand out in brilliance at the break of dawn
to stand out in brilliance at the break of dawn
to radiate hope at the first ray of sun
to be trampled once again
and yet flower again
bringing back colour to the enchanted wilderness
Reflections
Reflection- Nikita Sara |
I like what i see
My reflection whispers to me
I smile a silent smile
It’s taken me a while
To move away from the shadows
To erase the blows
To find a place I belong
To find a place I want to rest
I quickly steal a look
without fear or anxiousness
at the brilliant reflection that smiles back at me
at the reckless soul
the free spirit that has nestled
with the spirit
that has dared
to bare itself and make space for it forever!

One Day
I will take you to the skies
Seat you on the stars
And as we make our way through the milky way
I will pick up all your dreams
And weave them with the stars
And spin it all around you
I know you don’t see yourself
The way I do
The questions and thoughts
that plague you day
in and day out
but, with you on my mind all the time
those thoughts are things I cannot go a day without!
One day
When you let me, I shall build an observatory
Just to show you
That throughout all constellation
All the stars will never
Shine as bright as you!
